Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how EEAT Analyzer handles information when you use our Chrome extension and website (eeatanalyser.netlify.app). By using EEAT Analyzer you agree to this policy.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This document is written in plain English so you can clearly understand how your data is handled — not buried in legal language.
Who does this apply to?
This policy applies to all users of the EEAT Analyzer Chrome extension and the eeatanalyser.netlify.app website, regardless of location.
Data We Collect
We collect only the absolute minimum. Here is the complete list — nothing is hidden:
| Data | When | Stored where |
|---|---|---|
| SEO analysis results | When you analyze a URL | Your device only — chrome.storage.local |
| Name & email address | Only if you submit the support form | Our Gmail inbox — not in any database |
| Support message content | Only if you submit the support form | Our Gmail inbox — used to reply, then it's just an email |
What We Do NOT Collect
We want to be completely transparent. We never collect any of the following:
✗ Your browsing history
✗ The URLs you analyze (they never leave your device)
✗ Cookies or tracking pixels
✗ Device fingerprints or IP addresses
✗ Usage analytics or behavioural telemetry
✗ Advertising identifiers
✗ Location data
✗ Search queries
✗ Any content from pages you visit other than what you explicitly choose to analyze
EEAT Analyzer has no analytics scripts, no tracking pixels, no advertising SDKs, and no remote logging of any kind. The extension is completely silent unless you actively click Analyze.
How & Where Data Is Stored
Extension data — your device only
All SEO analysis results are stored exclusively in chrome.storage.local — Chrome's built-in local storage. This storage lives on your device and is completely inaccessible to us or any third party. Think of it like a website's localStorage, but for extensions.
| Location | What's stored | Can we see it? |
|---|---|---|
| chrome.storage.local (your device) | Last 100 analyses — URL, score, issue count, timestamp | No |
| Our servers | Nothing | N/A |
| Any third-party cloud | Nothing | N/A |
How to delete your data
Open the Dashboard → click Clear All to wipe everything instantly. Or simply uninstall the extension — Chrome removes all associated storage automatically.
Chrome Extension Permissions
We request only the permissions strictly needed to make EEAT Analyzer work. Every single one is explained below:
Third-Party Services
Here is the complete list of every third-party service we use. Nothing is hidden:
| Service | Purpose | Data shared |
|---|---|---|
| Google Fonts | Load DM Sans and Roboto typefaces on our website | Your IP address (standard web request only) |
| Google Apps Script | Forward support form submissions to our Gmail | Name, email, and message — used to send the email, not stored in any database |
| Netlify | Host the eeatanalyser.netlify.app website | Standard server logs (IP, timestamp) — Netlify's standard hosting |
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have specific legal rights over your personal data. We honour all of these rights for all users, regardless of location.
Children's Privacy
EEAT Analyzer is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted data through our support form, please contact us immediately at daksheshbabu@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy as EEAT Analyzer evolves. When we make significant changes, we will update the Last updated date at the top of this page and notify users via the Chrome extension release notes.
Continued use of EEAT Analyzer after a policy update is posted constitutes acceptance of the changes. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

EEAT Analyzer is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC or Alphabet Inc. "E-E-A-T" refers to Google's Search Quality Evaluator Guidelines framework. All analysis runs locally in your browser — we never see the URLs or pages you analyze.
